A Dog that Saved a Kangaroo!!

A pionter clog mixed dog named Rex saw a kangaroo on the side of the road.  The kangaroo had been hit by a car the night before.  Rex's owner, Leonie Allan, called Rex's name, but Rex didn't listen. Rex grabed something and droped it on Leonie's feet and it was a joey!  The joey survived the hit and was in the mother's pouch.  "Rex never left the joey's side untill I knew what to do", Leonie said.  Leonie took the joey to the vet.  She named him Rex Jr.  A couple of weeks visit, Rex knew right away that it was his friend and nugged him and licked the excited kangaroo.  The dog followed his instincts or maybe he followed his heart.
