Kangaroos

I chose to do kangaroos because they are one of my favorite animal.  There are there main species of kangaroo that live in Australia. They are the Red Kangaroo, Eastern gray kangaroo, and the Western gray kangaroo.  Most kangaroos live in Australia.  A kangaroo's young are called joeys.  Joeys finish their development in a pouch of the mother and they stay in there for a while.  Kangaroos are mammals. Most of them sleep during the day, but some of them don't.  Kangaroos are marsupials.  Marsupials are mammal animals that give birth to extremely underdeveloped offspring.  A male kangaroo is called a buck. A female kangaroo is called a doe or a flyer.  Kangaroos have very good eyesite and hearing.  The red kangaroo is the biggest marsupial.  A group of kangaroos is called a mob.  Some kangaroos live in New Guinea.  Kangaroos have very strong tails and they are very fast jumpers.  Some of you may have seen a move called Kangaroo Jack.  The movie is about 2 guys that need to gve money to one of the guy's stepdad.  Then one of the guys put a jacket on him and it had the money in there and they named him Kangaroo Jack. Then Kangaroo Jack jumps away.  I think it is a great movie and if you haven't seen the movie I think you should watch it.
